Our "Eco" pizza boxes are made of kraft paper. This is a very strong paper type made of wood chips from coniferous wood.
The wood chips come mainly from tree species such as spruce and pine, because they have a long fiber. And that ensures the strength and high quality of the paper.
During the processing of wood fiber into paper pulp, the natural binder lignin is separated from the cellulose, creating a very pure product. Our pizza boxes are made from this kraft paper, which is unbleached and therefore preserves its natural brown color. The paper is wet-strength and due to its pure composition it is very suitable for recycling and composting. Because the material is made from fast growing tree species, the product is also very durable.
