Information

Re-usable cutlery, a nice alternative to environmentally harmful plastic cutlery.

Our cutlery is made of CPLA. This is made from plants such as sugar cane, sugar beet, corn and cassava root. Fermentation of raw sugars from these plants produces lactic acid molecules. After polymerization of the lactic acid molecules, PLA is created.
By heating PLA during production, the material crystallizes and CPLA is formed. CPLA is a natural alternative to plastic and is certified for industrial compostability according to European standard EN13432.

Use this reusable CPLA dessert spoon as a sustainable alternative to plastic cutlery. The spoons are sturdy, heat resistant and do not break easily. Ideal durable disposable cutlery for parties, parties or for dessert. This small spoon is reusable and is SUP-proof. You can also use this spoon as an ice cream spoon, just a little nicer for a sundea, for example. The cutlery has been reintroduced by our partner Naturesse as reusable and meets the European standard DIN EN 12875; "Resistance of household items to machine washing". This makes the cutlery more than 20x washable in the dishwasher at 70°C. The cutlery can therefore be used several times.
